About

I’m the author of the picture book The Pirate Tree that was published by Lantana Publishing in 2019. I also translate books from English into Slovenian, and I hold a PhD in Creative writing (Swansea University).

In the past, I’ve worked as a subtitler, proof-reader, editor, assistant accountant (the most surreal job as most of the time I can’t put two and two together), cleaner, and baker assistant.

By profession I’m a linguist, by passion a writer. By far the coolest fact about me is that I wrote my Master’s thesis on Harry Potter. That is cool, right?

I love photography, sewing, crafting, cooking, reading, and learning new languages.
